please check this botany que.....whether I am right or wrong....?
I was studying evolution chapter and then I came upto homologousorgans....in homologous organs one example is: thorn of bougainvillea and tendril of cucurbita (because both are stem modification)...but if we see they also form a pair of analogous organs...both have function of climbing....because tendril has natural functioning of climbing and some thorns of cucurbita also take hook shapes and perform function of climbing.....

Answer by Metalplanttag
Hook climbers – In Bougainvillea, Duranta and Carrisa, the thron is modification of axillary
vegetative bud which helps in climbing. In Bignonia, terminal leaflet is converted into
hook.
Tendril climbers – Tendrils are thread like structure which help the plants in climbing. Tendrils
are modifications of :
Entire leaf e.g. Lathyrus sativus.
Leaflet e.g. Pisum sativum
Petiole e.g. Clematis, Nepenthes.
Stipule e.g. Smilex.
Leaf apex e.g. Gloriosa
Inflorescence e.g. Antigonon.
Stem e.g., Vitis (grapevines), gourds, Passiflora (modified axillary bud).
Analogues means - corresponding in function, but not evolved from corresponding organs, as the wings of a bee and those of a hummingbird.
