Half of my daffodils and Tulips are not blooming?

Okay very strange. This year The daffodils in the front yard bloomed and the daffodils in the back yard just leaves with no blooms. The Tulips in the back yard bloomed and the tulips in the front yard just the green leaves. Very strange. Why is this happening? I'm in zone 5 in the North east.

Hard to say - but the most common reason for non-blooming tulips and daffodils is that last year, after they bloomed, the leaves were braided, folded, mowed, or cut back while still green. if that was the case, then they didn't get to gather enough energy to form this year's flower. Let them be this year, and they should bloom next year.

Tulips, especially the big fancy ones, don't bloom forever and tend to peter out after a few years, but it's usually gradual, not abrupt. Also, that's usually not the case with daffodils, which perform much longer, and often even spread. So I don't think that's the issue for your flowers this year.
