Crape Myrtle not blooming - any ideas why?
I bought a Crape Myrtle at a local farmer's market last year and didn't have a place to plant it, so I put it in a large pot on my patio. It bloomed all summer long. I kept it outside (We live in North Carolina). This year, though it has grown beautifully and looks very healthy, it hasn't bloomed. Does it have to be planted in the ground before it will bloom?

Did you prune it during the winter? Maybe the pot is too small for the root system. Sounds like you should call the local nursery or county extension agent.

Spring display in the library – super fast, super easy!
Books are random selections from the shelves and kids are signing them out faster than I can pull books to take their place. This is a great way to pull out those "gems" that get hidden in the stacks and not signed out.
