CANNA Firebird.: how do i cut the spent blooms?
After months of waiting my canna firebird bloomed! im so excited but i was told i need to cut the spent flowers to induce repeat blooms for the remainder of the season (til first frost). How do i do this? and will this plant really keep growing new blooms? thank you

There should be a little 'knot' just below the spent blooms. Cut cleanly just below that knot. If you don't feel one, anywhere just below the bloom is fine.

I still need to add some beads for the center of the flowers, but it is washed, dried, and ready for shipping tomorrow. Oh, and don't forget late! Eeek!
