what do I do to transplant the bulbs so I may get them to bloom next year..

Forced tulips (tulips artificially made to bloom earlier than they usually do) rarely perform well the second year.

But it certainly will cost you nothing to try. Continue to take care of it in it's pot - put in a sunny window. Lightly fertilize. Bulb food also wouldn't hurt. In late spring, or when the leaves have died back, you can plant in the ground. You can also wait until fall...but I always forget about them and they end up rotting. It's easier to plant 'em and be done with it instead of storing them.
