Is there anything special to do to get an impatiens to blossom?
My daughter gave me an impatiens for mothers day last year and it had blossoms on it at the time. Since then (1 1/2 years) it hasn't had any blossoms on it, though it has grown quite a bit. I've moved it into a larger pot, gave it Miracle Grow, left it alone, picked off the dead leaves....still no blossoms....please help!

Give them bloom-booster fertilizer(any fertilizer with a high middle number like 15-30-45-or 60) This middle number on the fertilizer package means high in phosphate which promotes budding and blooming. Also give them a little more light then you are now.
