I know there is an edible cherry blossom tree the Japanese use to pickle the flowers or use in wagashi, and I know the cherry blossom trees will grow in my area since I'm zone 6. But what people aren't specific about is the species or name of the cherry blossom tree which produces the edible flowers and where to buy it in America.
