How do I make my orchids bloom? and Flower from Blooms

How do I make my orchids bloom?

They are indoors, but I live in Florida. I have had them a long time, and they were in bloom when I got them and they haven't bloomed since. They grow new shoots often, but no flowers. I usually kill plants, so I give them credit for surviving. They are dendrobiums, I think. They are growing in wood chunks and moss.

The best way for you to get the plants to flower is to put them outside in Florida. Your orchids may only bloom 1 or 2 times per year. I also live in Florida, I just put mine outside under the trees. When in bloom I just move to a spot that can be seen. Its that easy in the right area. Don't over feed, nature will take care of it. Don't water. No need they will get all that's needed from rain. The dry spells in the winter will cause the blooms to develop. Its really that easy.
