How long does it take for pea plants to flower?



i planted it like a week ago, but theres only tiny green sticks coming out
how long before it grows and has a flower? it needs to flower by january for me to get extra credit in bio class, so how can i make it grow faster?

It takes most pea plants about 6 to 7 weeks to flower. Maybe, if you gave your plant sufficient heat and water, it MIGHT flower in January.

This is a photo of a bloom from one of our azaleas (Rhododendron). Azaleas are a common ornamental shrub in South Carolina, and elsewhere, such as the Augusta, Georgia, National Golf Course, where the PGA Masters will be taking place this week. (We won't be attending!) The flowers are about 2 inches (6 cm) across, consisting of five petals, which are partly joined. The style and stigma, as well as the filaments and the anthers, are clearly visible in these flowers. They usually have spots, which are colored differently, on some of the petals. (They are yellow in this flower.)

I don't know what caused the variegation in this plant, but it seems that some cell lineages have the capacity to express the reddish color, and most of them, on this branch, do not.
