My roses are not flowering. How do people get there rose bushes to bloom all summer?
I bought 5 rose bushes. 3 are really small and the other two are 3 feet in height. One of the large ones had a rose on it when I bought it. Since then the flower died and I have not seen any new flowers on any of the plants since. All of my plants are in full sun. Is there some kind of plant food it needs? Some kind of trick? I see roses bloom for people all summer long. I want that to happen.

Roses that rebloom usually don't bloom CONSTANTLY, but more in waves. The bloom, those fade, thy grow new ones, those bloom, etc. What you can do to help speed up the process is cut off the spent blooms so that the plant does not spend energy making rosehips - the swollen pod that form after the rose fade, which is where the seeds are. It will then but it's energy back into making more flowers.
And although you see roses elsewhere flowering "all summer long", it a rare shrub that does so continuously. The constant bloom you see in the neighborhood is most likely different shrubs in bloom every few weeks.
