I want to get a boutonniere for my boyfriend for our first prom, and i want it to be a real flower. Also i don't know what color of flower, or even what type of flower to get. can you help me decide, and also help me on an average price range?

All you do is tell the florist that you want a boutonniere. The most they are is 25 bucks and that is for the ones that are bigger and more flowery. Guys pretty much dont care about these and the simpler the better so tell that to the florist. It will be like only 10-15 bucks. It will be a rose with a few little white baby breath around it. Guys dont wont a big arrangement on them so the simpler the better. First you get your dress. You tell him the color of your dress.
