What types of flowering plants grow best underneath a cedar tree?
I have built a flower garden underneath a cedar tree in my backyard. I plan on filling it up with flower friendly soil, and planting some sort of flowers plant in it. This way I don't have to worry about roots from the tree interfering with the roots of the flowers. What types of flowering plants will grow well underneath a cedar tree? I would even like to have greenery suggestions too, as flowers may not be able to grow underneath the constant shade of my cedar...Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!
