why doesn't my wisteria bloom?
I have 5 year old wisteria that grows like crazy but does not bloom, on Long Island NY.

Don't feel bad I have a 20 year old one that never has bloomed either, I have tried everything, root trimming, beating it in the spring with rolled up newspaper....nothing works. I think mine is planted over an old septic line which makes the soil to rich, well it makes a nice hedge..
