My japanese maple did not bloom this year?
A couple leaves attempted to bloom very low nothing else on the tree its about 4 years old and always been very healthy

I've had a red one for 5 years or so and its never bloomed yet so no surprise. I also have a green one which was quite old when I rescued it from my son-in-law and that has not bloomed either. In fact I never thought they these did bloom. I have since read that generally only very mature trees bloom but that was only one view
