We have azalea bushes that are blooming right now again. Why?
We live in central PA can anyone tell me why my azaleas are blooming again? They are not the encore bushes.

we're heading into fall... the direct opposite of spring... the temps are going down some, the nights are longer, days are shorter and the angle of the sunlight is changing..... much the same way it all changed when spring was coming on..... the plants don't know the difference... you may get a few blooms on the plant, but it won't go crazy and bloom all over like it did in spring.... many of our spring plants do this.... I get forsythia and dogwood blooms in October here in zone 7.... enjoy them... they won't hurt the plant or disturb the spring bloom....
