How am i supposed to ask my nieghboor to let them use their land to plant a garden?

Ok, i want to plant a garden, but have no place to plant one. My neighbor has a perfect place to plant a garden and i want to ask him if i can use it. How can i go about doing this?

The first thing is are you willing to give the neighbor a portion of the crops. This would be proper compensation for the use of the land by any right.
The next thing is simply to go and ask, and see if you can strike a bargain, simply bring up that the land is fine and is in such an area that it would benefit a garden.
Inform the neighbor that with their permission you would like to till the ground and plant the garden and tend it at no cost to the neighbor and in return you could offer a percentage of the first season crops.
You would have to guarantee to return the lot to its original condition at the end of the growing cycle unless the owner and you make other arrangements.

The most you should offer and it is a fair offer is 20% of the crop that is the highest offer you should show to the neighbor in good faith, but the offer of 10% for a starting offer would possibly be acceptable.
Consider that 20% of a crop is a large portion of food and the neighbor may in fact only need a small amount of food actually so this offer is well above average.

Garden of Morning Calm Starlight Festival


The Garden of Morning Calm (아침고요수목원) is a huge garden with a different themes every season. In winter, since there are no flowers, the garden holds the lighting festival where the whole garden is lit up in beautiful, colorful lights. The garden is open only until 6pm but during the lighting festival, they will remain open until 9pm on weekends. The festival is called the The Five Color Starlight Exhibit and it runs until March 3, 2013. Admission is 7,000 won.
