my orchid blooms are starting to wither on the tip of the stem and the stem is turning yellow?

my orchid blooms are starting to wither and the stem connecting them to the spike is turning yellow. four of them are withering at the top end of the spike, and one on the bottom. could this be caused by overwatering? is there anything I have to do to save my plant?

Overwatering, possibly combined with low temperatures are likely causes.Try carefully removing the plant from the pot, inspect the compost for surplus water.Soak up any surplus with paper towels, then repot in the next largest pot packing fresh compost around the rootball.
If the orchid lives on a windowsill, and remains when the drapes are closed,it may be chilled.
