what is the apropriate way to get rid of a bacterial bloom?



do i need to do daily or weekly water changes?
how much water will i remove for the changes?
its been 17 days!
in a 55 gallon with a couple cichlids and a pleco and has lots of circulation.
im a fish owner for 13 years and has never heard or experienced a bacterial bloom!

it will sort itself out. happened to me in my 55 gallon cichlid tank too, water changes didn't help, but all a bacterial bloom does is cloud the water, it inflicts no harm to any fish. It will sort itself out, but may take some time, like 1 to 3 weeks.
