How much can you plant in 20x20 garden?

I'm planning to create a community garden in my apartment complex. I'm a complete novice to gardening and want to find out how much we can plant in 20x20 deer-fenced garden. We live in Central New York.

Will it be enough for people to occasionally pick their harvest (like tomatoes, cukes,) or can it really feed several (3-4) households (vegetable-wise) during summer months?

What kind of veggies can you plant in 20x20 garden?

20+20 is a wee bit vague. In New York i'd grow the hottest chillies I could.

White Satin, Leucoma salicis.

An almost pure white moth, apart from its black and white striped stockings - which can be seen in this view. Quite a few come the garden trap from July. When I put this one on some lavender it flapped a bit before settling, so I thought I'd post this shot of it in uncharacteristic pose. Blurry, but I hope it gives a sense of movement.
