A purple flowered pansy plant with a single white flower?
I have a single pansy plant in the pot in my garden. All its flowers are in the same shade: yellow centre, white and purple petals.
But one single flower from the same plant has turned out completely white apart from is yellow centre. The whole flower is there, but where I would expect to see purple petals, there are white petals instead and not a single shade of purple. On the same stem, all other flowers are completely normal in colour. How can this happen?
