Does anyone know of any bright colored flowers that bloom either at night or only once in a while?

I'm looking for any flowers that have colorful, large-ish blooms (not ones with a bunch of tiny leaves on them) that bloom at night. I already know about the Night-Blooming Cereus, so please don't mention that one. If you can't think of any flowers like that that bloom at night, I'd also like to know about colorful flowers that bloom only once in a while.

Apricot Bloom & Storm


A landmark and season mark on Highway 2 before dropping into Wenatchee, these apricot trees bloom very early, but when I finally remembered my camera on the way to work, this cloud array dampened the mood. I will try again today.
