Identify this flowering plant?
This is a fibrous-stemmed plant about 4 feet in height growing in zone 8b. It freezes back in winter and is currently blooming. The leaves are large and opposite in arrangement. The inflorescence is about 5 or 6 inches in diameter and is more purple than it appears in the photograph.
