After how many days does a cucumber flower grow?

After how many days does a cucumber FLOWER grow?

ALSO, I only have one cucumber plant, so when the female flowers come, can i use the male flower from the same plant to pollinate it?

a small cucumber plant will tak a few weeks to grow initially, You will need to put up some support for it to climb up, like six or so bamboo canes in a circle, tie them togewther at the top like a wigwam and then put some netting over the bamboo canes so the cucumber can makes it way up the netting, (they self cling) only when it reaches a certain height do they start to flower, Most cucumbers that I have grown, have been self pollinating. Each flower technically will be a cucumber, the flower will drop its petals and the centre part of the flower, will be the beginning of a cucumber. You should feed the tomatoes every 10 days, using something like a tomato food, which is suitable for most vegetables. You will see how big the cucumbers get, it is up to you when you pick them and...............................................The flavour will awsome !!!!!!
