How can I stop a dying blossoming cherry tree? and Cherry Blossoms

How can I stop a dying blossoming cherry tree?

We have three mature, beautiful blossoming cherry trees in our yard. The home is about 20 years old, but I can't verify the age of the trees. One of the trees continues to have multiple dead branches and some show with lichen(?). I continue to prune out the dead wood but is there something I can do to improve the tree's health and reverse/stop whatever is ailing the tree? The tree does continue to produce new growth even though other parts continue to die.

There might be a problem with the root system of the tree. Without seeing pictures of the tree including where the tree enters the soil, it is somewhat hard to tell what the problem could honestly be. If you want....post pictures and it might make it easier to determine what is going on. Another thing to consider is overall environmental stress factors.

I was kinda underwhelmed, I expected them to be more pink. All that anime I used to watch led me to believe that all cherry blossoms are pink!!! They were really white with a tinge of pink... could've just taken pictures from the tree in my backyard! lol

Maybe its that these particular bunch of trees just aren't as pink....
