Question, When should my dwarf Washington Navel orange tree bloom? and Spring Bloom

Question, When should my dwarf Washington Navel orange tree bloom?

i have a 3-4 year old washington navel orange tree (dwarf) and also a 3-4 year old dancy tangerine tree (also dwarf) and i was wondering when i should expect it to bloom and bear fruit? It gets about 5 hours of direct sunlight every day, unless it is cloudy out, and i water it once a week to once every two weeks when necisary. They went dormant over the winter because it was colder out (i live in New Jersey) even thoe they were indoors in pots. They have adiquit drainage holes and are now green and healthy, but some of the upper brances are still brown. Can anyone tell me the normal fruiting age for them?

I would expect it to have bloomed by now. The thing is--you are in New Jersey, so you have to bring it inside in wintertime. Washingtons bloom in late winter to early spring and the fruit ripens in early winter in Southern California. I suspect that you need to keep your tree warmer in winter, and give it more sun than 5 hrs per day. I would also trim off any dead wood and fertilize to stimulate some new growth. In the ground, citrus can do without much fertilizer, but in pots they get pretty hungry.
